Gorgeous and Groomed

Beautiful make-up begins with beautiful skin. Make sure you have the right skin-care routine for your type to ensure your skin is hydrated and smooth for a flawless finish. Perfectly groomed eyebrows are also a must-have. So go pamper yourself and book that eyebrow shape and wax.  The better groomed you are the less makeup you have to use.

Beautiful Base

Instead of overly applying your foundation with a brush, we want your real skin to shine through. Lightly rub a few drops of your foundation onto your fingertips to warm the liquid and blend the foundation onto your skin, starting from the middle of your face, blending outwards. Try looking for formulas that allows your skin to breath and contains vitamins to keep skin nourished. Remember less is more so only use what is necessary.

With your ring finger lightly cover any blemishes, dark circles or red areas with a yellow base creamy concealer. The yellow undertone will work to neutralise your skin tone, evening out the complexion. If pimples are a concern use a concealer specific for healing spots and if dark eye-circles are a problem, use formula that is beneficial for the fine skin around the eyes. This will usually include vitamins and a built in illuminator.

Pro tip:

Use a dampened sponge to blend concealer or excess foundation for a sheerer finish.

Intriguing eyes:

Show off your beautiful eyes by swapping smoky eyes for peachy, sparkling champaign or bronzed swept eyelids. This will instantly open your eyes and make them gleam under the sun.  To make your eyes pop, curl your eyelashes and run one coat of mascara through the lashes.  Make sure you rub the mascara brush at the root for extra lift.

Cheeky Cheeks:

This is the easy part. Remember less is more, so with your blush brush lightly dust bronzer under your cheekbones for extra definition and warmth. If you prefer a peachy glow, on the apples of your cheeks lightly rub a cheek stain or cream blush for a glowing finish.

Luscious Lips:

Dab Paw Paw ointment, an SPF gloss or lip balm to bring out the natural colour of your lips. Did I mention they all have nourishing shielding properties?

Tip: Feeling dull?

Just in case you didn’t feel fabulous enough, with your fingers rub liquid mineral illuminator along your brown bone down along the top of your cheekbones. This is where the light will hit so you will always look fresh, healthy and give off the illusion of high cheekbones.
