Ooohs and aahs filled the room of M1 on the Sunshine Coast last night as Alex Perry exclusively showcased his ready-to-wear Autumn-Winter collection for next season. And let me tell you, it lived up to every expectation. Fabulous!
Structured. Soft taffeta. Silk. Bows. And as the man himself described, statement shoulders, making “your ass look smaller”.
“It’s all about shape and colour,” he said.
“I always relate to things that have a Grecian edge.”
The 150+ fashionistas fortunate to score a ticket were not disappointed.
TV presenter, Rosanna Natoli and Styling You, Nikki Parkinson hosted the show. “The Perry Girls,” they laughed.
The collection covered quite a few one shoulders, soft straps and bows.
Zambezee boutique co-owner Natalie Bedford told Nikki Parkinson, “We’re so thrilled to have the Alex Perry ready-to-wear collection in store, to be exclusive stockists on the Sunshine Coast.”
The event proceeds of more than $2000 were also donated to Autism Australia.
