Strutting straight off the international fashion runway circuit, the trends for 2008 are set to bring sexy and feminine back, with falling hemlines, light as air dresses, floral patterns and some versatile neutrals punctuated with bursts of bright colour that make for fantastic accessorizing opportunities! With Summer 08 being all about fun, femininity and experimentation of colour, we want to make a toast to these hot trends with some fabulous cocktails to complement each look … so Cheers!
Feminine Dressing
Light as air, sheer, flowing, silk jersey dresses and gowns are the looks of the season.
Team it with a thin belt (another hot trend!) to define your waistline. The belt will draw attention to the thinnest point and the belt will create the illusioillusion of a waist (it reminds me of A FLIRTINI)

Bright Color Palette
The spring ’08 palette is defined by classic, versatile neutrals punctuated by splashes of invigorating brights, empowering us to explore new and creative ways to combine colours. Marc Jacobs and Diane Von Furstenberg are two designers to embrace this bold move. Think warm, cheerful freesia, which is an uplifting and inviting colour that allows for diverse accessorizing opportunities. Add brighter reds – a consistent favorite in spring, and then add some Rococco Red which is an exciting, attention-getting classic.
