Role in the magazine:
Web editor

What does your job in FROCK involve?
I’m the Web Editor so what I do is create an design of what Frockpaperscissors.com will look like, matching this up with the magazine as best as possible. I work closely with the web design team who then give me feedback on my idea and we build upon them.

What’s the easiest and hardest part of your job?
The easiest part is that luckily I have a web design team who can do all the technical processes, the hardest part is editing everything and chasing people up for last minute information.

Define FASHION in your own words?
A philosophy, an expression, an addiction.

What are your greatest fashion inspirations?
Well I’m a blogger so some of my greatest inspirations come from other blogs. I love looking at Stockholm Streetstyle, Garance Dore, The Satorialist, 4th and Bleeker and EmSedge for wardrobe inspiration. Out of the web I pick up a Russh or Oyster to give me a fashion pick me up. And on an individual level designer/stylist Kym Ellery is always amazing.

Describe the Sarah Style?
The Sara style (on a good day) is all about the accessories. I live for the highest of heels, lots of rings, my favourite long necklace... then a basic tank dress with a jacket thrown over the top.

If you were a fashion item, what would you be and why?
A statement ring. I may be small and at times unnoticeable, but I can turn something average into something amazing and you’ll want to keep me forever.

Five things you need to know about me:
1. I’m a true Piscean
2. I can not stand celebrities on magazine covers
3. I love photography
4. I can not (do not) wear a high heel any shorter than 4 inches
5. peppermint makes me sneeze

Would you rather be a small fish in a big pond or a big fish in a small pond? Why?
A small fish in a big pond, so that I have lots to explore.

What’s the most fearless thing you’ve ever done?
My blog harper and harley

What’s the theme song of your life and why?
Buses and Trains by Bachelor Girl

If you could take a trip anywhere for 30 days with money not being a consideration, where would you go and what would you do?
I’d follow the Fashion weeks, New York, Paris, Milan and London. I think that would fill up my 30 days quite nicely.

Most memorable time in FROCK?
Watching Austin (Fashion editor) put his own saliva on the models eyelid to stick down the gold leaf.

One thing you wish you knew before you started in FROCK?
I wish I knew what I was doing

Where to go after FROCK?
Anything I can get my hands on!
