The Zuri list that is. There’s a new place to be seen out on the town in Brisbane and it’s nothing like what we’re used to. The new multi-million dollar venue on Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, Zuri, has graced our presence, and its here to make a mark on the industry.

Zuri’s internationally-inspired design, said to be 19th Century elegance meets 21st Century opulence, is the newest, hottest club on the Brisbane scene.

Zuri’s Managing Director, Joseph Mannino, said that he wanted to bring a new focus to the nightlife in Brisbane. Mannino has created a venue which emulates his passion for fine food, wine and live entertainment, all set in a stunning environment… the ultimate customer experience.

“Brisbane is ready to welcome an evening lounge where everything is all about making the guest feel welcome and servicing them 130 percent. With such a passionate team, Zuri will do just that,” Mr Mannino said.

“I have worked in, and seen venues across the world where the focus is on creating the ultimate experience for the customer. Until now, Brisbane really hasn’t had a strong focus on that – but now we are ready.
“We’re one of the fastest growing cities in the world and it is an extremely exciting time to be bringing a concept of this calibre to such a vibrant city,” he said.

With invitations to the grander-than-grand opening as rare as Willy Wonka’s golden ticket, celebs and fasionista’s across the country flocked to the red carpet grand opening on Friday October 10th.

VIP guests were spoiled from the moment they walked into their lavish surrounding through towering iron entry gates. The celebrity line up for this extravagant event, included; MTV’s Ruby Rose and Darren McMullen, Channel V’s; Renee Bargh, Underbelly stars; Alex Dimitriades, Damian Walshe-Howling and Gyton Grantley, pop star; Emilia Deporet, hoteliers; Dave Evans of Hugo’s and Toby Osmond of Will & Toby’s. Not to mention an array of fabulous fashion designers and the who’s who of Australia’s fashion and hospitality media.

And so they say, welcome to the wonderful world of Zuri, Brisbane’s most lavish evening destination. Let’s hope the plan works and this hot nightspot continues to elevate the Brisbane bar scene to all new heights...
