New York, London, Milan, Paris; between these four fashion capitals, over 240 designers unleashed their spring 2009 ready-to-wear collections. With a myriad of styles, shapes, fabrics and colours, deciphering which trends will hit our shores next season is an arduous task. FROCK has compiled a list of the top 10 fashion trends we can expect in 2009.

You may know him as André 3000 and you may only be familiar with him telling you to "shake it like a Polaroid picture", but despite all this, what you may not realise is that this beat boxing, club hopping music star has a nick for designing clothes as well.

Now before you reply with “I know, I know”, give me a moment to inform those of us who aren’t so Topshop savvy… British, high street fashion power-house, Topshop, are notorious for their famed collaborations with designers and/or celebrities (for example the highly anticipated Kate Moss for Topshop).

Australia’s designer talents have taken a bite out of the Big Apple. From New York to Paris, the fruits of our sunburnt nation are proving to be deliciously marketable.
