Never before have we been bombarded with so much choice in the bedroom, will it be something to make you feel sexy, something to make you feel feminine or maybe something just for comfort?
New kids on the block Jasmine and Will (Jasmine Lindsay and Kaye Williams) are creating sleepwear that is good enough for the bar, and they are about to take over a bedroom near you.
There debut collection ‘ A Modern Romance’ isn’t just about being comfortable, it is about looking and feeling great, whether it be in the bedroom or by the pool.
Jasmine Lindsay, one half of Jasmine and Will, says the brand’s ethos is “to make looking good in bed easy.”
“It's about striking the balance between current fashion trends and comfortable sleepwear,” Lindsay said.
Now this isn’t your average ‘inspired girl’ fashion label. This is a niece, and aunty partnership.
Jasmine, a merchant banker, and Kaye, a registered nurse, realised there was a lack of sleepwear in the Australian market, and that an online store was the only way to go.
The inspiration, apart from Kaye being embarrassed by dropping the kids off at school in “daggy” pyjamas (and the kids being embarrassed of her), was to “inject style into sleepwear.”
While looking at the collection it is obvious that this is not your typical boxers and cami-set. Their collection, and all it’s pieces, are worthy of public show.
Jasmine’s pick for the season is the "Something Kind of Wonderful” nightie.
“Perfect for the bed or pool, and slip it on with leggings and ballet flats if you’re heading to the shops,” Lindsay said.
What more could you want? Sleepwear good enough to roll out of bed and down to the shops in, or even straight to the bar on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
