Designer | Illustrator | Frock Paper Scissors Content Contributor

Lily Mergard is a 19-year-old Designer and Illustrator based in the Redlands, Australia and a content contributor for the 2018 edition of Frock Paper Scissors. She is approaching her third and penultimate year studying a Bachelor of Design (Honours) (Fashion) at the Queensland University of Technology and has gained industry experience at Opera Queensland working behind the scenes. She feels most at home when absorbed in work on a toile or illustration in the studio. She enjoys anything she can create with her hands and is always up for a challenging project. Recently, she dabbled in digitally printed fabric created from her hand-painted illustrations of Australian houses. This month’s flavour: Shingo Sato style pattern making with a side dish of Zero Waste. You can shoot her an email anytime, whether for a collaboration or if you just want to say hi.
